There is no reason to question the integrity of Senator Arthurs Sinodinos AO, the former PM Howard's Chief of Staff & former President of NSW Liberals, a man of indisputable intelligence & competence with many years of distinguished service to public life & his Party.
To drag his name in a corruption ICAC enquiry is regrettable and to place his name amongst the likes of Eddie Obeid & Joe Trapodi is the ultimate humiliation & embarrassment for such a distinguished man.
Senator Sinodinos will most probably be cleared of any wrong doing in the current ICAC enquiry.
However, his one & only big mistake will continue to haunt him.
During his time as the president of the Liberal Party in NSW, like the former PM John Howard, NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell, current PM Tony Abbott & many other powerful & distinguished NSW Liberals, Arthur Sinodinos took on the hard right religious Masters of the NSW Liberals to reform the Party machine in NSW & introduce democratic structural change ....and lost!
The hard right Masters in NSW Liberal Party & their (unknown) followers, do not take kindly to moderates who try to reform the Party structure in NSW. And those who do take them on, do at their own peril!
Any wonder Senator Sinodinos's name has been dragged to the low levels of an ICAC enquiry?
